Welcome to the tenth edition of Leasing Life’s digital briefing magazine.

In the third edition of 2019, we cover the recent regulatory changes to bank overdrafts and the P2P market from the regulator that could have an effect on the leasing market.

We also look at how the regulator has approached its jurisdiction and where it might eye in future here.

We take a look at some of the deals that have taken place over the summer in the asset finance market.

We get some opinion on the near future of the fleet market here.

After the announcement that outsourcing business Kier was looking to cut jobs and sell off units, we look at it and two other examples of outsourcing businesses that stressed its suppliers.

We also look at how the leasing industry has prepared for Brexit across the past year, and what that means for the operations of a large finance business.

And finally we look at the UK government’s efforts to support the supply chain and SME exporters with a review of the actions of UK Export Finance (UKEF) over the past few years.

I hope you enjoy reading it.
